How to Setup V2Ray on Windows (PC and Desktop)

 

What is v2ray?

 V2ray or vmess protocol to be precise, is an advanced model of the well-known Shadowsocks. At the center v2ray is also based on SOCKS5 proxy. Normally, proxies lack encryption, and that’s what differentiates a VPN and a proxy. Shadowsocks is SOCKS5 proxy with an encryption, and vmess is the next gen Shadowsocks.

 

 

 

V2Ray includes  “protocols” vmess, v2ray’s personal protocol and Shadowsocks. In addition, you can pick several tunneling and obfuscation options with vmess.

1.      TCP – It is the default connection. “TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is a form of protocol or wellknown to switch records over the Internet, consisting of SSH, FTP, HTTP, and many others.“

when you reach there, then select your server. either daily server or monthly.

The first arrow is for weekly server,

The second one is for monthly servers.

 

When you reach here, all you need to do is create your server by putting your details in the box provided above.

Copy the file or text in the picture above then head over to your v2ray app and do the next steps

below.

Click on the import button to import the server.

Paste the file in the big space above then click on import

Then click on the pen tool to edit the configuration.

 Inter-change the server and the host as presented in the picture above.

 After inter-changing the host and the server, then you can click on the ok button to connect it.

then enjoy your supper fast vpn on your windows.
